MEET THE ARTISTS

Cristobal

Juan Cristobal Pinochet Araya lives in Quebec. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa. He has created portraiture for many years. Cristobal was a former member of the Institut des Arts  Figuratifs, the Académie International des Beaux Arts du Québec and the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada. Cristobal participated in more than 50 group and solo exhibitions, seven of which were in Europe.

Cristobal was twice a finalist at the National Art Conquest of Reves d'automne in Charlevoix, won a gold medal from the city of Yvetot in France, and the Merit Certificate from Parliament in Ottawa. He holds the title of Pastel Master from the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada, and the Title of Master in Beaux Arts from the Academy International de Beaux-arts du Québec.

Susan Statham

Susan Statham

Susan Statham is a visual artist, author, and instructor living in Ontario. She is a graduate of Algonquin College and the University of Waterloo. She attended The Ontario College of Art and Design and the National Portrait Academy. Susan also studied writing at both Loyalist College and the University of Waterloo.

She is a novelist and an editor, as well as an award-winning visual artist.

Ginet Leblond

Ginet LeBlond has been painting figurative work and portraits for many years. Her studies in oil painting began with private painting lessons from an Indiana University instructor in Quebec.  It was the beginning of a lifetime love of art, the study of art and of painting.  It became her long-time career.

Ginet graduated from CEGEP Ste-Foy and later completed her degree at Laval University. She also studied cast metal sculpture and had exhibitions of her work in Quebec. She has been interviewed and widely featured in the press across Canada, including in art magazines, books and in other print and digital media.

Olga Muzychko

Olga Muzychko

Olga Muzychko grew up in a family that appreciated the arts. They lived on the coast of the Black Sea in Russia where she was encouraged to paint, create and express her artistic side.

Olga studied painting in Russia and in Canada. She has a long history of working with portraits. She participated in numerous group shows, including those in Toronto, Las Vegas, and at the Art 09 International Art Fair and the Toronto Art Expo. She presented her work in a Solo Show at the Arta Gallery.

In 2009, Olga was the featured artist at the Russian Winter Palace.
