Canada's Nation Builders

In anticipation of Canada's 150th Birthday Bash, Galerie Q initiated the Nation Builders project nearly two years ago. Completely self-funded by Galerie Q, the series includes portraits of Canada's most influential Prime Ministers, men whose dedication and service to Canada remain indelibly woven into the fabric of the country. "The Nation Builders" series begins with the oil portrait of Sir John A. MacDonald, our founding father and concludes with the painting of Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau.
In further recognition of Canada's sesquicentennial, the portraits are published in an exclusive hardcover collector's book and will include, in both official languages, English and French, a biography and a description of their accomplishments. "The Nation Builders" will be available on-line and in major bookstores in the winter of 2017.
